Materials and Manufacturing Technique
Ultra 3D Lam is produced from multiple layers of specially formulated high quality vinyl sheets which are free of harmful plasticizers and phthalates. The number of sheets required and their individual thickness can vary depending on the final application of the product. Every layer of material is carefully examined by highly trained personnel to eliminate any imperfections as part of the stringent quality control process. The layers are thermally fused together using considerable heat and pressure and a computerized control system to ensure a precise and consistent laminating process every time.
When the pressing cycle is complete, the image layer is now encapsulated between the outer sheets and won’t delaminate under any circumstances. The overall process and mirror-quality finish provided by the pressing plates enhances the image even further by adding depth and amazing clarity. Combined with our proprietary coating which is also thermally fused to the surface sheet, the image layer is now permanently protected and will look like new for years with much less maintenance than most interior surface products.
